Charlottefield are a fine fine specimen of a music band, many say the best we have in the UK. Countless releases, UK tours and Euro tours have earned the band a huge amount of respect around the world. Charlottefield are actually a rather unique band considering they ply brash mathy efforts of Drive Like Jehu, Sweep the Leg Johnny, Oxes and smooth them off with sounds of of Husker Du, Television and HOOD. The Charlottefield live experience is incredible and the boast one of the very best drummers around. Its been a while since a band of this ilk has bothered to come and play in Dundee. Miss this at your peril.

support will come from...
local lot Juliet Kilo who have been working on their next release for what seems like forever. Expect lots of smart melodies, guitar tapping and tight drums and bass. Kilo are quite hard to pinpoint or define, there are definetly tinges of Indie-Emo and I would hazard a guess that they certainly listen to the likes of Stapleton, 100 Broken Windows era Idlewild and some earlier Get Up Kids material (dont shoot me!)
Bullet Hell are a smart new two piece band who recently played their first gig at the Westie. Bass, Drums and lots of amplification please. The sound lies somewhere between Stoner and Mathy Noise, and certainly nods to Fu Manchu, Gonga, Hella, Oxes and Lightning Bolt.
